This is the perfect first step on the pathway to studying law. Whether students are already interested in the subject or looking to explore their options, Oxford Royale’s course aims to provide an engaging insight into the study of law, and the potential careers it can lead to.
Both in class and during social activities, our students will interact with young people from across the globe who are following the same educational pathway. Building a network of likeminded students at a young age offers a significant advantage for our students.
Key skills in the study and practice of law are communication, collaboration and confidence. Our course is specifically designed to provide key subject knowledge, but also in-class and extracurricular opportunities to help grow these skills through group projects and practical law simulations.
A city that has inspired countless leaders throughout history, Oxford is the perfect environment for young learners to start their journey with law. The University of Oxford has produced top international lawyers, including Amal Clooney, Tony Blair and Elena Kagan.
Students will explore a wide range of topics including Public law, Criminal law, Tort law and Contract law, allowing a broad introduction to the study of law, but also providing fascinating subject matter to engage students with their learning.
In hands-on practical simulations, our students will learn to think like a law student as they undertake investigations into real-life cases, applying their newfound knowledge into practice.
The perfect way to end a law course, our aspiring lawyers will team up to utilise their new skills to take part in a mock trial, working from a real life case study to see the trial through from investigation to verdict.
